Hi folks,

This'll go out Monday, although I'm writing on Friday, September 11th, the 8th anniversary of the terrorist attacks upon this country that killed nearly 3,000 of us, and based upon which the United States went to war, twice; well over a million people so far are dead as a result, including over 5,000 U.S. military casualties.

Added to those murdered outright in the attacks, scores have died as a result of breathing the air at 'ground zero' during the clean up. As is now publicly known, Bush's EPA lied, saying that environmental conditions were fine in the weeks following 9/11; the truth was quite different. It's been estimated that over the coming years more will die from ground zero-related respiratory diseases than were killed that day.

As many of you know, I'm making a film right now. Part of the backstory shown in the film relates to my best friend from High School; Donny Turso is his name. He was killed in Vietnam, along with more than 58,000 other Americans and some 4 million Southeast Asians, mostly Vietnamese.

Part of my film-recollection of Donny is that we were together in chemistry class at Harrison High School when President John F. Kennedy was murdered in Dallas.

The above events connect for me – and in my film -- along with one other event, which is known as the Gulf of Tonkin Incident. On August 4th, a U.S. destroyer called the Maddox, cruising international waters off North Vietnam, reported being attacked by North Vietnam PT boats. This was in 1964, when Donny and I were on summer vacation from Harrison High.

The Gulf of Tonkin Incident turned out to be a lie. It was made up by the Johnson Administration to justify the outright invasion of Vietnam by U.S. forces. Do some reading if you don't believe me on this.

The way I connect these events in my film is as follows: John Kennedy was murdered in Dallas by elements of the U.S. government.

(The simplest proof of state involvement is the fact that JFK's autopsy photos and X-rays were both faked – to make it appear that the kill shot came from behind. This proves both a conspiracy and that elements of the government were involved. You can go here for a quick look at some of the evidence for photo fakery; there's lots more. In fact, the famous Zapruder film was also doctored. Maybe do some googling on that if you're curious.)

Kennedy had no intention of committing to a ground war in Vietnam; in fact, he was planning on pulling our troops out as soon as he was re-elected. I've done extensive research on this subject – on all the subjects I refer to – and am sure to a moral certainty that this is true. (Kennedy would certainly not have perpetrated the Gulf of Tonkin hoax.)

Therefore, indirectly, my best friend Donny was killed by the element of the state that murdered John Kennedy.

I believe to a moral certainty that the same element of the state that murdered John Kennedy also perpetrated 9/11.

I'm not a religious person, not in the usual sense, but I've come to understand that the John Kennedy murder, along with the murders of his brother Robert and Martin Luther King (and probably Malcolm X, although I have not looked into that), and along with certain other incidents since that day in Dallas, represent what I can only refer to as the modern-day surfacing in this world of 'unspeakable evil.'

My film is partially about living with this knowledge, and having to make decisions regarding what to do with the knowledge. (My film is 'about' other things as well. It's a road film, a surf film, a dog film, a filmed memoir, and a buddy film – my old friend Patrick, a.k.a. 'Christopher,' from In Search of Captain Zero shows up for a reunion at my campsite in Mexico, and we surf together for the first time in 20-something years.)

I am making this film because I am driven to do so. That's about all I know in terms of deep motive, but I do have a surface motive that I need to discuss with you. I need some help in the form of feedback. I'm worried about how I'm handling the through-line about... unspeakable evil.

Down the line a bit I will explain more about this but now is not the time; I don't want to prejudice your response.

Some of you have looked into 9/11; many probably have not. In either case I need you to look at a very short video of WTC Building 7 collapsing. The barest of details: Building 7 fell at 5:20 in the afternoon of 9/11. It was not hit by an airplane. As mentioned in the clip, photographic evidence shows that it had two or three fires, on different floors. The U.S. government – via the National Institute of Standards and Technology – did a report of the event and came to the conclusion that fire brought the building down. They did not blame damage from the falling Towers.

Please disregard the few seconds of talking by Dr. Jones, interesting as it is. Just watch the building come down. Now please watch the clip.
