Some big news for surf film aficionados: Starting in the next issue, Bandito Books will collaborate with the legendary surf film-maker Jack McCoy in creating original material only available here. Re-edited classic footage, new stuff from his vast archives, behind the scenes stuff from Jack’s productions going back to the 1970s, you name it. We’re going to wing it and have some fun.

Also, Jack is now at work on a new production and will share with us the progress of the shoot, in the form of stills, film footage, and commentary. Cool! Talk about a coup! Holy shit!

For this issue, Jack has given us permission to run “Rasta Into the Sea,” which is in the “special features” section of his outstanding Blue Horizon, co-produced by Billabong.
